How lucky we were that we, in the end, actually did take the decision, followed our intention and took some time off in the middle of our lives, doing something completely different and adventurous together with our children.

Not that it is always is very easy, and, believe it or not, everyday life actually strikes you even in "paradise", but it has so far definitely been very rewarding to go cruising, getting perspective to life, living closely together with the family, working with home schooling and especially experiencing sailing in the tropics.
