Currently, Mahina is pressing on southbound along the Norwegian west coast sailing day and night with the goal to arrive and pass Lindesnes, the southernmost tip of Norway before the gale with southern winds arrives. They are racing against the warm front scheduled to arrive on Sunday morning. Lindesnes is another of these dangerous “kaps” in Norway where currently there are “just” some 4 m waves with no gale, which will rapidly change, when the warm front arrives... Will they make it?

So, with Mahina far offshore and me going to LEGOLAND with the kids for two days (!), you won’t be hearing from me until Sunday, the earliest! I hope I can then report Mahina safely in port. Mandal, just passed the rock of Lindesnes on the Norwegian south coast, is planned as the next destination.
